INVAP is organized in divisions (the major Business Areas). Each Division normally handles many projects, or "technological packages" (PTs). Each PT has a "chief" who reports to the Division Manager.

All projects have a duration established by their contract. Each project has its own inner structure, which is fixed according to its specific needs. Each project makes use of internal or external services as needed.

The internal Service Areas (CC) are permanent technical and administrative structures which are at the disposition of each project as required.

Any need that cannot be satisfied internally is subcontracted.
