RELATIVITY,by M.C. Escher – Lithography, 1953 The unsettling visual paradoxes of this great dutch artist show impossible worlds but show deeper levels of reality of our own. On this litho, the edifice depicted is affected by gravity in three different directions, each of which define a different view of the world. Different people share a same space without ever being aware of one another. In modern world something similar is happening: economists, eologists and technologists live on the same planet without ever meeting because the axis of theit thought are different. Our Environmental Policy wishes to go a step towards integration of these three visions, on each of which Argentina´s future depends - as well as that of the rest of the world.

The severe environmental dificulties facing the World are too well known to describe them here once again. The pollution of all ecosystems, the energy crisis, the Global Climate Change – all of these take much place in all media.

INVAP is sharply aware of these problems. We are a Company committed to collaborate towards the solution of the environmental problems: our satellites examine them from Space, we made waste treatment plants, we work in different ways in Wind-power generation.

We also are a Company with a commitment to Nuclear Energy. Nuclear technology helps to solve the environmental problems, in spite of years of fears and prejudices due to Nuclear Weapons and to the Chernobyl accident. Public opinion is changing to recognize that nuclear energy is part of the solution.

The Environmental Policy section of our website will try to apport ideas and expose our commitment to help to solve the environmental crisis the World is facing, and to awaken global consciousness of the dangers we face. We also wan to show that Nuclear Energy is part of the solution, as are recognizing those genuinely worried about the future of our Planet.
