Gantry

Isocentric design
The source to axis distance (S.A.D.) which ranges from 60 to 120 cm can be selected from the remote console with ± 1 mm accuracy. Presetting for 60, 80, 100 and 120 cm.

Isocentric height 130 cm Gantry rotation ± 185º for S.A.D. < 100 cm. and ± 135º for S.A.D > 100 cm.
Arm rotation with automatic stop at 0º' 90º 180º y 270º with ± 1º precision.

Arm positioning from hand control with both fast and slow movements.


X Ray Unit

High frequency X-ray generator. Generator frequency 30 Khz.Maximum power 40kW (400 mA 110 kV and 300 mA @ 120 KV)

For Radiographic image:
kV range: from 40 to 1 20 kV. mA range: adjustable for steps of 50-100-200-300 and 400 mA.Time range: from 0.005 to 5 seconds.

For Fluoroscopic image:
kV range: 40 to 1100 kV mA range: 1 to 4 mA.

Collimator

Fully motorized collimator movements.
X-ray field limited by lead jaws which move along x and y axes.
The X-ray field is shown by means of a high intensity light field.

The treatment field is shown in the light field by the shadow of two outline wires and in the radiation field by its X-ray absorption.

The treatment field at isocenter height for S.A.D. of 100 cm can vary from 0x0 cm to 45x45 cm.

The collimator can rotate + 100º around radiation field axes.


Image Intensifier

IC s high gain tube with 9/6 inch.
High resolution TV camera and monitor.

Stretcher

Two speed longitudinal and lateral movements with unlocking clutch.
Manual rotation with electromagnetic brakes.
Vertical table top travel 60cm.
Lateral movement: ± 20 cm.
L ongitudinal movement: 80 cm.
Table rotation: 360º
Stretcher isocentric rotation: ± 145º.

X-ray transparent table made of carbon fiber and Rohacell 71 with attenuation equivalent to 1 mm of aluminum (for 100 kV).


Control System

Computerized control system consisting of:
Remote console with monitor.
Keyboard and mouse located in the control room. Infrared ray hand control.

Stretcher control on both sides of the Stretcher.
Monitor that provides readings of parameters located in the simulation room.
