Regarding scientific equipment, INVAP's
expertise in magnetic optics and mass spectrometry dates as far
back as the early 80's in the construction of TANDAR
(the biggest particle accelerator in the southern hemisphere),
and the Pilcaniyeu Uranium Enrichment Plant for
Argentina's National Atomic Energy Commission
(CNEA).
As a supplier of high or ultra-high vacuum chambers, INVAP's
customers range from Argentina's National Commission for
Space Activities (CONAE), who need to test their space-based
satellite cameras, to North Carolina State University,
USA, who carry out research on new electronic
