In order to guarantee the performance of the equipment, a series of experiments were carried out at INVAP´s laboratory pilot plant to validate the engineering parameters and to verify the hydraulic design.

The experiments were made on a 1:1 scale model, and the parameters were measured in an absorber with the same diameter and length of the final one.

The entire set of reports generated during experimentation was submitted to the customer as a part of the engineering package.

The results of the experiments satisfactorily matched the preliminary calculations. The equipment, once installed at the Plant was found to comply fully with the performance specified in the engineering requirements.
