The final version of the NASA (JPL) owned, highly original, costly and unique ocean salinity measuring device, has arrived in Bariloche to be mounted on the Argentine Satellite platform SAC-D. The launching of the SAC-D mission is foreseen to occur in coincidence with the bicentenary of the Argentine independence movement in 1810.

27-07-2007 - Media Release - Australia’s new nuclear reactor, OPAL : Australia’s new nuclear reactor, OPAL, is to shut down for approximately eight weeks to address recent issues identified during its initial operation phase over the past eleven months. There are currently no safety or radiation exposure issues, and the independent regulator ARPANSA has been advised.
