CAMPAIGN DATA PROCESSOR (PDC)

An INVAP engineer testing the PDC at an Antarctic base.

The CAMPAIGN DATA PROCESSOR (PDC) allows the centralized handling of remote sensor originated data (as given, for instance, by radars). It works as a portable C3 (Communications, Command and Control) room, useful when informed and quick decisions are to be taken in complex and rapidly changing situations.

INVAP’s PDC was developed under specifications of the Argentine Army and runs on “hardened technology”, designed to operate well in spite of extreme vibration, impact, temperature and humidity conditions.

The equipment has been successfully tested according to the MIL STD-810F standards of the US Department of Defense, dealing with environmental engineering and laboratory testing procedures.
